Mentoring for founders and business leaders

I help founders and leaders step out of day-to-day operations, find new growth points, strengthen the team, and free up time for strategy.

Who this is for

  • Business founders who are stuck in day-to-day operations and want to get back time for strategy.
  • Company leaders who need the next level in management, focus, and results.
  • Entrepreneurs and founders going through growth, change, or scaling.
  • Team leaders who want to strengthen the team, reset priorities, and avoid burnout.
  • Strong specialists and managers preparing for a new role, a new market, or a new level of responsibility.

What people come to mentoring with

Most people come to mentoring at a point when the old way no longer works: the business is growing, the workload is increasing, and there is less time, clarity, and energy. At that stage, what you need is not just advice, but a new level of decisions, focus, and inner stability.

  • Step out of day-to-day operations and get back time for strategy.
  • Define the next level in business, career, and life.
  • Set priorities and stop spreading attention across dozens of tasks.
  • Find growth points for the business, product, or a new direction.
  • Restructure the company and strengthen the team.
  • Move toward higher-level clients, partners, and opportunities.
  • Reduce overload, anxiety, and the constant feeling of not having enough time.
  • Regain energy, stability, and a sense of moving in the right direction.
  • Navigate a difficult transition: a new role, a new market, a new country, or a new stage of business.
Leonid Bugaev works with company leaders, founders, and team owners who want stronger results in business and more clarity in decisions. The focus is on priorities, strategic thinking, team strength, and freeing up time for what matters most.

What mentoring gives you

Mentoring is personal work on your business challenges, management decisions, and personal effectiveness. Together, we identify what slows down growth, where time and energy are being lost, which decisions are overdue, and what will help you move to the next level without unnecessary chaos and overload.

In practice, we usually work across four levels:
  • Strategy: goals, priorities, the next stage of growth
  • Management: team, structure, delegation, decisions
  • Development: new products, new clients, new directions
  • Personal sustainability: time, energy, stress, focus, and inner stability

What result you get

As a result of this work, you gain more clarity, less chaos, and more control over key decisions. You get back time for strategy, strengthen your team, identify growth points, and make important decisions faster and with more confidence.

How mentoring differs from consulting and coaching

In consulting, you are usually given ready-made solutions from the outside. In coaching, the focus is on helping you find answers through questions. In mentoring, we combine experience, strategic perspective, practical tools, and personal support - so that you can make decisions faster, navigate difficult stages, and move toward your goals with fewer losses of time and energy.

Who this is not for

This format is not for people looking for a magic shortcut, wanting only inspiring conversations without action, or not ready to implement decisions in real life and business. Mentoring works best when there is ambition, openness to change, and a willingness to move from discussion to results.
What do you need support with?
You might be here because you feel that the current way of working has stopped giving the results you expect. Below are typical situations where mentoring helps most.
Reaching your full potential
You have already achieved a lot, but feel that you could play at a higher level. You want clearer goals, bolder decisions, and a more meaningful next step in your career or business.

Becoming more productive without burning out
Your days are full, but too many tasks do not move you forward. You want to stop wasting time on the wrong things, free up several hours a day, and finally make space for important projects.

Moving to higher‑level clients and opportunities
You are ready to work with more interesting and demanding clients, partners, and projects. You want to refocus from “any work that comes in” to 10x clients and larger, more meaningful tasks.

Building a strong, reliable team
You no longer want to carry everything on your shoulders. You need a team that can take responsibility, handle key challenges, and grow with you.

Resting and recharging without losing momentum
After years of intensive work, energy is not endless. You want to slow down the daily race without losing results, find time for yourself and your loved ones, and restore your resources for the next stage.
Time for freedom
Find time for new, meaningful wins without sacrificing your life.
If you are like most readers of this site, you are already a highly effective professional. Recently, however, you may have felt that your opportunities are limited and your time is permanently in short supply. The modern world offers so many options that it is simply impossible to review and choose from all of them.

How do you respond to daily challenges?
How do you keep up with everything?
How do you continue to be successful in life — even when you have already achieved a lot?

It is scary to feel that you are no longer keeping up. That you are falling behind.

Your effectiveness drops when your actions lead to results that feel insignificant. At some point you realize that your “engine” is spinning its wheels. Confidence starts to fade – and this quickly affects your health, relationships, family, and the people you care about.

Helping high‑performing people and leaders become even stronger is a challenge – and this is exactly the kind of work we do in mentoring every day.

Leonid has gone from being an employee to running his own business and knows first‑hand how important it is to feel in control and confident that the day will go well.

If you are looking for a way to recharge your life with energy, health, emotion, and to renew your relationships with friends and loved ones, you are in the right place.

How we work

This is not a group training program and not abstract conversations about development. We work one-on-one - with your challenges, decisions, constraints, and goals.

The format is personal Zoom sessions, minimum theory, and maximum practical implementation. You come for experience - and that is exactly what you get.

Work period

  • After you submit your application, Leonid’s assistant contacts you.
  • You receive a checklist that helps us prepare for the introductory session.
  • During the first meeting, we align on the results that should meaningfully change your situation.
  • You confirm the format and we schedule our sessions.
  • We turn your goals into a clear working plan with measurable priorities.
  • In the first sessions, we refine the main goals and clarify what matters most right now.
  • We then meet weekly in Zoom sessions and work through intermediate steps toward your goals.
  • At the end of the engagement, we review the results and next moves.

Mentoring format and fee

We work toward results, which is why the minimum engagement is 3 months. This gives enough time not just to discuss challenges, but to implement changes, test ideas, and see real progress in business, leadership, and personal effectiveness.

Fee: 240,000 RUB (around 3,200 USD) for 3 months of personal work.

Format: one Zoom session per week, plus focused work on your key challenges, decisions, and priorities.
