Problems you are facing:
  • No courage to start a conversation

    We run through dozens of possible phrases in our head — and none of them feels right.
  • No energy for meeting new people

    You kind of understand what you need to do, but your inner resources are completely drained.
  • Fear of rejection

    The most common reason for staying silent is: “What if they say no?”
  • Fear of a negative reaction

    Thoughts: “What if I come across as pushy?”, “What if I annoy the person?”
  • Trust issues

    An awareness that it’s not easy to build deep relationships with a client, yet you still want them to warm up to you right away.
  • Fear of not being up to their level

    Thought: “What if I come across as too inexperienced or uninteresting for this person? They have so much experience, so many projects and achievements — and here I am with my questions, looking stupid.”

Who is this training for?

  • For early-career professionals and entrepreneurs who want to confidently meet people and build valuable connections.
  • For managers and salespeople who need to build trust with clients and partners.
  • For experts and consultants who need to learn how to present themselves and their product without fear or stiffness.
  • For leaders and executives who are looking to expand their circle and reach new levels.
  • For those who want to learn how to connect with “high-fliers” — top managers, investors, opinion leaders — and not get lost at the first contact.

Leonid Bugaev

Lead Networking Practitioner

Your connections are your resource.

Network is your web of contacts. To expand it, you need networking skills.
I wonder how many times you’ve come to an important event and, instead of talking to people, ended up buried in your smartphone. Or stood by a table with others, but never dared to walk up and say hello. I’ve been through that myself—and I know it’s not about you as a person, it’s about the situation.
It’s even worse when such moments become part of your identity: “well, I’m just not good at this…”, “I’m not a born speaker…”. I was the same way. But then I realized that everything is a skill.

The real breakthrough began when I stopped mistaking “awkwardness” for my true nature. I learned how to talk, to speak in public, to build connections — and even to use mobile technologies and my networking as a driver of growth.

Getting to know people is necessary and important

Mathematics and common sense tell us that:

  • Every new connection increases the chances of discovering a new opportunity. If you meet at least one new person a week, that’s 50+ new contacts a year. Even if only 10% turn out to be valuable, that’s already 5 chances to change your career or business.
  • The impact of “weak ties” has been proven: it’s through distant, new contacts that jobs, projects, and offers most often come — not from your close circle.
  • The more “social capital” you have, the more resilient you are to crises and unexpected changes. Networking is an investment that works in both the short and long term.
  • Closed doors are most often opened by specific people. That’s why expanding your circle of contacts is a strategy for accessing new levels, markets, and projects.
First impressions matter. Even the smartest idea goes unnoticed if you “hide it behind a smartphone screen.” We make up our minds in the first five seconds — not with logic, but with a feeling. What if you could take control of that — and turn it into your strength?
It’s not enough just to realize that communication is a skill that can be developed — you also need to put yourself in a context where “staying in your old mode” is simply not an option. No way out. When you’re in an environment where it’s normal to meet people, talk, and present yourself, your choice is simple: either you engage, or you stay invisible. And someone who’s invisible in business and in life rarely gets new opportunities.
“Awkward Fridays in Moscow”
Is it strange to “train” social skills?
A few years ago, I thought everything was fine. My business was growing, my projects were getting attention, I had moved to the capital.

But what I remember most are not the workdays, but the Friday nights.

I seemed to know a few people, we met up from time to time. But there were Fridays when I wanted to go out somewhere… and my phone stayed silent. In the evening you check your messenger — nothing. You think, “Okay, they’ll probably text later.” But nothing happens at seven, or at nine. And there you are, sitting at home, scrolling your feed, then turning on a show or going to bed at ten — right when you’d rather be walking around the center on Patriarshiye Ponds, sitting in a café with friends.

That’s when I realized: I was waiting for other people to invite me into life. I was passively expecting that new acquaintances and connections would “somehow just happen” by themselves.

Then came the insight: if I want to surround myself with interesting people, if I need partners, clients, and friends, it’s not going to happen on its own. I need to take action, I need to learn how to meet people and train my communication skills just like we train muscles or learn a new language.

And what turned out to be really strange? That many people are ready to live their whole lives calling themselves “shy” or “awkward,” without ever checking whether that can be changed through practice.

From that moment on, I started treating networking as a system: I learned to ask the right questions, honed my opening lines, and looked for environments where new connections are formed easily. Over time, this became one of my key pillars — both in business and in life.

Who is this course for?

This training is not for those who are looking for magic phrases or want to “trick” the audience.

It is for those who:
  • are ready to admit that their current communication style is not working;
  • are ready to practice, make mistakes, and grow;
  • want to get rid of clichés like “just be yourself”;
  • are ready to invest 10 minutes a day and get results;
  • believe not in miracles, but in systematic growth through action.

What awaits you in the course

  • The psychology of communication in practice, not motivational slogans.
  • Practical scripts for dialogue in different situations — from networking to negotiations.
  • Breakdowns of real-life scenes where you will see how people transform their communication style and get results.
  • Nonverbal signals — how body language, facial expressions, and pauses increase your persuasiveness.
  • “Field communication” tasks — real-life assignments that you first complete in a comfort zone and then outside it to reinforce the skill.

You will master the tools:

  • “Mobile impulse” — a technique that helps you release stiffness and speak more freely.
  • Social experiments that turn communication into a game rather than a source of tension.
  • Methods for naturally overcoming pauses and nervousness.
  • A storytelling technique that amplifies your message without changing the words — only through delivery and intonation — based on my experience with public speaking and keynote sessions.

What you will gain

  • Algorithm for quickly meeting new people and starting a conversation
  • Strategies for developing 10x key client relationships
